CEU Business School, Hungary

A US-accredited institution, CEU Business School is located in Budapest, Hungary. The university campus boasts modernity mixed with sensuality. Located just 200 metres from the Danube River, the campus lies in Buda - a serene, quieter area of Budapest. While the business school campus is currently located in a small 4-storey building, plans to combine it with the main campus are underway.

However, being smaller doesn’t mean that it is not equipped with the best facilities. The university has a fully-fledged library containing over 200,000 documents and electronic databases. Sports centre, medical centre, and other recreational facilities form the icing on the cake, ensuring students have all that they need. While it is rather newer than other university campuses, the business school has done significantly well in the short time it has been on the globe.

The CEU Residence and Conference Centre offers comfortable, furnished, air-conditioned single rooms for almost 400 graduate students. Students enjoy a sports centre with swimming pool, sauna and fitness room, basketball/football court, tennis court and other recreational facilities.

The university's campus redevelopment – which broke ground in early 2015 – will offer a bold and welcoming public presence, open and interconnected space, with cutting-edge technology, flexible classrooms and collaborative student spaces – encouraging open debate, public engagement and a lively, cohesive campus.

Central European University's new campus design has been granted “Very Good” status by BREEAM standards, the world's leading assessment method for sustainable buildings. CEU is the second higher education institution in continental Europe and the first in Central and Eastern Europe to receive this distinction."

European School of Management and Technology (ESMT), Germany

Located in the cosmopolitan town of Berlin, the ESMT campus has a lot to offer its students. You can feel the socialistic architecture and style of the Berlin campus, as well as the spirit of the Middle Ages in the campus near Cologne. The building that is home to the Berlin campus was completed in 1964 and hosted the National Council of the GDR until 1989. After reunification the building was used in many ways until 2002, when the European School of Management and Technology was founded by 25 leading global companies and institutions. The transformation of the Staatsratgebäude into a modern learning institution started in 2004, and ESMT started holding classes there in January 2006. Besides being impressive for its size, the building is also famous for its 180m2 stained glass window. It was designed by the socialist artist Walter Womacka and shows the history of the German workers’ movement. The most impressive room is probably the Auditorium Maximum where from its enormous windows you can enjoy the view of the famous Museum Island and Berlin Cathedral. ESMT has a second campus near Cologne. It is hosted in Schloss Gracht - one of the oldest castles in North Rhine-Westphalia, dating back to the Middle Ages. In 1976 the building became the headquarters of the Universitätsseminar der Wirtschaft (USW), now integrated into ESMT. ESMT offers guided tours on the last Friday of each month.
