GMAC has launched the Executive Assessment Online, an online and remote version of the Executive Assessment developed to support candidates and schools during the disruption to test center-based delivery during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Structure of Executive Assessment Online

The Executive Assessment Online has the same structure as the Executive Assessment offered at test centers. The Executive Assessment Online presents test takers with 40 questions across three 30-minute sections in the following order: Integrated Reasoning (12 questions), Verbal Reasoning (14 questions), and Quantitative Reasoning (14 questions).

Similar to the test center experience, online test takers will also be able to review and edit question responses within a section as they navigate through the assessment.

Scoring

The Executive Assessment Online also uses the same scoring algorithm and score scale for the Section Scores and Total Score as the test center-based version. This consistency across the online and test center formats enables comparability.

The total scale ranges from 100 to 200, and the scale for each section of the assessment is 0 to 20. All three sections are equally weighted in determining your total.

Executive Assessment Online results are valid for five years and your attempt will be counted independently of the test center-based Executive Assessment attempt limits.

Sending results to schools

With the Executive Assessment Online you still have the option to send your results to as many programs as you want, and you can make your selections before you take the assessment, or after you take the assessment and receive your results. Your official results will be delivered to your account within seven business days of completing your assessment.

Availability of the Executive Assessment Online

Appointment times are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and you can schedule an appointment up to 24 hours before an available testing window. Appointment dates are available beginning 5 May, 2020 until 30 June, 2020. GMAC continues to monitor conditions and looks to add future appointment dates as needed.

The Executive Assessment Online is available in most locations, with the exception of: Mainland China, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Slovenia due to regulatory and local data privacy rules. Please note that currently proctoring support for the Executive Assessment Online is only offered in English.

If test centers in your location are open and you feel safe accessing a test center facility, you are encouraged to do so. GMAC is closely following local government directives to ensure the health and safety of test takers and test center staff. All test centers that are currently open have enhanced safety and hygiene practices in place.
