UBC Master of Management

The Master of Management (MM) at UBC Sauder’s Robert H. Lee Graduate School is a full-time, nine-month program that is geared towards university graduates with non-business degrees and limited work experience. The MM curriculum provides a strong foundation in business and management disciplines, with case studies and teamwork being key components of the program. During the Community Business Project, you will apply new skills to solve a real-world business problem for one of 100+ partner organizations. UBC Sauder is ranked the #2 business school in Canada for Master of Management in the QS Business Masters Ranking 2022.

The 9-month Master of Management (MM) at UBC Sauder's Robert H. Lee Graduate School gives students who have recently graduated with non-business Bachelor’s degrees (from mathematics to music) the business skills they need to gain a competitive edge in the job market. Students can begin the program directly after their university graduation, or with up to two years of post-graduation work experience.

Admission Requirements

Admission

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a B+ average or higher
  • Applicants with business degrees (majors/minors) are not eligible for admission
  • GMAT or GRE score (min 550 GMAT or 150 GRE score) (waivers are available)
  • Applicants with more than two years of full-time work experience gained after graduation are not eligible for admisison
  • Completion of TOEFL, IELTS, PTE, MELAB, where applicable (an English proficiency exam is required for all candidates whose degrees are from a university outside Canada or the USA in which English was not the official language of instruction)
  • Resume and professional letters of reference
  • Admission interview (by invitation)
