At Haskayne, learning is not limited to the classroom. All Haskayne programs offer a unique blend of experiential learning that includes adventure leadership development, mandatory entrepreneurial thinking courses, formal programming for participation in case competitions as well as graduate programming tied to the Creative Destruction Lab Rockies. Students are also encouraged to take advantage of the Haskayne centres of excellence which are tied to key industries and business disciplines, including entrepreneurial thinking, advanced leadership, real estate, and energy and the environment.

Our Programs:

The Daytime and Evening MBA programs offer flexible study opportunities to meet student’s needs. Targeted at early-mid career professionals, this program is designed to help students grow their careers. This program offers plenty of opportunities for students to customize their experience, including internships, study abroad, specialization options and case competitions.

The Accelerated MBA program built specifically for graduates of a four-year business program from a recognized/accredited Canadian or U.S. post-secondary institution, the accelerated MBA option saves participants up to 45 per cent in tuition cost, as well as significantly reduces their program length.

The Executive MBA program is designed for mid-senior career professionals across a variety of industries, with curriculum designed to draw from the cohort's breadth of knowledge and experience. This is a 2-year program, with courses on alternating Fridays and Saturdays (one week on/one week off) and one intensive week per semester, and is designed to allow students to work full-time while completing their degree.

ADMISSIONS

Daytime/Evening MBA

·         A GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or higher in the last two years of a four year undergraduate degree, graduate degree or professional degree (e.g., Medicine, Law) from an accredited university; AND

·         At least two years’ professional work experience; and

·         A score of 550 or higher in the GMAT exam.

Accelerated MBA

·         A GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or higher in the last two years of a four year undergraduate business degree program from a recognized/accredited Canadian or U.S. post-secondary institution; AND

·         At least two years’ professional work experience; and

·         A score of 550 or higher in the GMAT exam.*

*If you achieved a GPA of 3.2 or higher in a Canadian undergraduate business degree you may be eligible to request that the GMAT requirement be waived.

     Applicants for whom English is not a first language must also achieve either:

·         A score of 97 or higher on the internet version of the TOEFL; or

·         A score of 7 or higher on the academic version of the IELTS.

Executive MBA

·         A GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or higher in the last two years of a four year undergraduate degree, graduate degree or professional degree (e.g., Medicine, Law) from an accredited university AND at least seven years’ progressive work experience; or

·         A GPA of less than 3.0 (out of 4.0) in a university degree as described above and at least seven years’ progressive work experience AND a score of 500 or higher in the GMAT exam; or

·         At least ten years’ progressive work experience AND a score of 500 or higher in the GMAT exam.

Applicants for whom English is not a first language must also achieve either:

·         Have a minimum score of 580 (paper-based) or 250 (computer-based) or 97 (with a minimum 20 in each section) (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); OR

·         A minimum score of 7 (with a minimum of 6.0 in each section the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).

Accelerated MBA:

• Canadian & Permanent Residents: Tuition of $17,854.32 plus general fees 
• International Students: Tuition of $31,688.58.60 plus general fee
• Students should expect to spend approximately $150 to $200 per course on books, cases and supplies

Daytime/Evening MBA:

• Domestic: $32,463 plus general fees
• International: $57,615 plus general fees
• Students should expect to spend approximately $150 to $200 per course on books, cases and supplies

Executive MBA: $75,000 plus general fees
