Vanderbilt University MBA

The Vanderbilt MBA curriculum features career-focused specializations, immersion learning, and a seven-week modular calendar that allows students to make significant progress in their preferred areas of study before beginning summer internships by taking 6 elective courses the first year in addition to core courses. Our Leadership Development Program in conjunction with the MBA uses tools to produce personalized development for each student focusing on the unique competencies that set high-potential leaders apart with students receiving individualized coaching from Executive Coaches. We offer a personal approach to career management, ensuring that students receive the individual attention from their personal career coach, resources, and guidance required to achieve their unique career goals.
Through immersion activities, career treks, and independent study opportunities, you can work with companies to consult, write business plans, develop strategies, and hone leadership skills to gain hands on experience. Projects have included expansion analysis, strategic plans for a new product launch, marketing strategy, business concept planning for investment and industry research. There are many international trip and exchange study options as well as career treks to other regions of the US.
The Finance and Operations & Analytics concentrations of the MBA are STEM designated.
