In addition, the business school works from five different academic areas: undergraduate, graduate, executive education and language school.   Professional Development Center ESIC offers help and support for graduates in their professional development after finishing the program of studies. The Professional Development Unit is responsible for giving advice, services, and related resources to help participants and graduates to meet their career aspirations. This service is available from the moment they enroll in the School until their retirement; i.e. graduates can use the Professional Development Unit during their completely professional life. Every academic year the Professional Development Unit processes more than 2,000 placements/internships and another 3,500 job opportunities.   Encouraging entrepreneurship ESIC Entrepreneurship Center provides the environment, facilities, support, and advice for participants to develop their business ideas. Around 7% of MBA graduates start their own business at graduation, which places ESIC in the 1st position in Spain and 11th position in Europe in the creation of companies, according to QS.   According to Antonio Martín, Dean of the Postgraduate and Executive Education area of ESIC, "the consolidation of the presence of our MBAs - International MBA (IMBA), Global MBA and MBA - in such a relevant rankings, fills us with satisfaction and demonstrates the strength of our programs. Last December 2018, the prestigious American magazine Bloomberg Businessweek published its new edition of the "Best International Business Schools 2018" ranking today, in which, for the fourth consecutive year, ESIC Business and Marketing School is among the best in the world in the teaching of Full-Time MBA programs, an improvement in its position in Europe comparing to the ranking of the previous edition. ESIC stands out from the rest in this edition as it is also recognized as the 3rd best Spanish business school in the Networking index.
